“Paperwork” is the ninth studio album by american rapper T.I., released on October 21, 2014 by Grand Hustle Records and Columbia Records. The album is his first project under Columbia Records, after his contract with Atlantic Records expired, following the release of his eighth album “Trouble man: heavy is the head” (2012). “Paperwork”, which derives its title from T.I.’s sixth album “Paper trail” (2008), was revealed to be the first in a trilogy.
The rap-pop combination has been always a cliché. But it can work so well… “Paperwork” is the perfect example. The union of lovely voices with the hard lines of T.I. are better than dark basses and cocky attitude of a rap-rap duo/trio.
Tracks 3 and 15 are good too, but we recommend five others below. And you will see why we think this way.
- “King” (track 1)
- “New national anthem” (track 4) [with Skylar Grey]
- “No mediocre” (track 7) [with Iggy Azalea]
- “Jet fuel” (track 8) [with Boosie Badazz]
- “Stay” (track 10) [with Victoria Monet]
