“New eyes” is the debut studio album by english electronic music group Clean Bandit. It was released on 30 May 2014, after suffering from setbacks, vía Atlantic Records. The album includes the singles “A+E”, “Mozart’s house”, “Dust clears”, “Rather be” and “Extraordinary”.
The world discovered Clean Bandit with a precious “Rather be” composition, one of the best musical combinations in a long time. The next single, “Extraordinary”, was good as well. So we were waiting anxiously for this debut album. The result is…not what we expected.
Violin is beautiful when it’s well treated. “Rather be” is an example. But, being one tremendous feature on CB’s music, is not included so much or with good success on the album. Electro prevails and -like you’re reading- we think is a mistake.
Hope Clean Bandit rethink the style they put on their music, because it could be such a beautiful thing that can end up falling.
